Paper wedding bouquet

So I'd bought my latex flower bouquets a while ago. I wanted something that was going to last long after the wedding. I was quite happy with them, until I stumbled onto Leigha Rock's stunning paper flower bouquet. I'd spent enough on them, and I still did like them, but I wanted her creation as well.

So I carefully pulled one of the bouquets apart, followed Leigha's tutorial and this is what I came up with:

                                                                                                               before

This is one of the bridesmaids bouquets-isn't it just gorgeous!

Now if you don't have the same products Leigha used, don't worry-just improvise. I substituted some punches for the die she used, with the same great result. Before you get started I would recommend preparing all your pieces before assembly so you can make many at once.

Leigha has since made many more stunning bouquets for your crafting pleasure, check them out in her side bar-you won't be disappointed!

Fresh Vintage Morrocan Lantern

Look! DIY inexpensive decorative lanterns for your next event at a fraction of the cost you would normally pay. I picked up this one from kmart for only $5.
Make sure you can remove the glass easily. This one has bendable tabs holding the glass.
I stamped the glass with the fresh vintage stamp set* and black staz-on and put back in with the stamped side on the outside.
A word of warning:
The staz-on has to be kept away from flame. Make sure your image is on the outside. I have tested it, and I've had no problems. However no candles should be left unattended. To be on the extra safe side try rechargeable tealights.

*get this set free during sale-a-bration by ordering $100 of products. Not available for purchase and only available until 31st March.

You get my heart racing!

Not your traditional valentine, this is one for the boys! I figured I'd give my man a break from the lovey dovey pink hearts etc and appeal to his masculinity.
I usually tend not to stamp a message on a card unless I have a specific recipient in mind, it's more versatile that way.

SU recipe:
Baja breeze, basic black, basic grey, watercolour paper
Need for speed, making tracks wheel (retired)
Marina mist, bashful blue, so saffron, daffodil delight, river rock, sahara sand, certainly celery markers
blender pen
tombow mono

Wealth of time

So just a quick one today.
Have you noticed that the game spinners make great clock hands?
Just trim one with your craft scissors, just behind the middle ring. And the other one I used my crop a dile to punch a hole through the end. It didnt punch out the first time, but punctured it. So rotate and punch again using the smaller punch and adhere with the brad.
